Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Walker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Omar Trejo! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Walker closes the distance and clinches. Walker gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Trejo is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Trejo had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Walker defends it easily. Trejo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Trejo keeping full guard, as Walker tries to pass. Walker trying to stand up but can't free himself from Trejo's guard. Walker might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Walker trying to control the position from guard on top but Trejo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Connects with an elbow from the bottom, proving to the judges that he's still active off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Walker trying to stand up but can't free himself from Trejo's guard. Walker wants to control from the top but Trejo keeps moving. Walker stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Trejo swivels though and keeps the full guard. Trejo keeping moving, preventing Walker from controlling successfully.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. The fight stays on the outside here - Trejo looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Trejo shoots in for a double leg but Walker sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Walker fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Trejo manages to avoid it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. A shot to de liver by Walker. Beautiful body shot. Walker tries a head kick but it misses.

Walker scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Trejo regains full guard. Nicely done. Trejo is looking for a triangle but Walker pushes his legs off easily.
Walker is breathing heavily. Walker postures up and lands a big shot to Trejo's brow. Walker knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Trejo on the ground. Walker preventing the sweep. Trejo is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Walker rolls with it to try and escape but Trejo cranks on the arm and Walker is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
