The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cerone closes this distance looking for a takedown but Guinzoo circles away.
Cerone misses with a series of wild punches.
Guinzoo shoots in for a double leg but Cerone sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Grey Guinzoo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Guinzoo rushes Cerone and presses him up against the cage.
Guinzoo has Cerone pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Cerone manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Guinzoo manages to break the clinch.
Cerone has his takedown stuffed
and Guinzoo counters with a three punch combo that has Cerone backing up. Cerone nods at Guinzoo to acknowledge the strikes.
Cerone will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Guinzoo fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Cerone sprawls well initially but Guinzoo persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Guinzoo tries to pass to full mount but Cerone defends it.

Guinzoo wants to take a breather but Cerone is having none of it.
Guinzoo is pressing down on Cerone's thigh, looking to free his foot. Cerone is holding on for now.
Guinzoo content to control rather than advance.
Guinzoo wants to stand up but Cerone manages to regain full guard.
Guinzoo is breathing heavily.
Guinzoo postures up in Cerone's guard and throws a big left but Cerone blocks it.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Cerone shoots for a takedown but Guinzoo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Grey Guinzoo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Donald Cerone.
Cerone tries to clinch but fails miserably

so Guinzoo counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Cerone is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Cerone has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Guinzoo doesn't defend quickly enough and Cerone has managed to lock this one up! Can Guinzoo escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Cerone on a fantastic submission victory.
