Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mamoud Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rock Rigaldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight moves into the clinch position. Jenkins breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Jenkins closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jenkins lands in his opponent's guard. Jenkins working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Rigaldo wants to stand up but Jenkins is controlling him. Jenkins stands and throws Rigaldo's legs to the side, diving into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jenkins throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jenkins stands up and we're back to a striking position. Jenkins keeps the fight on the outside. Rigaldo doesn't manage to clinch there - Jenkins circles away.
Rigaldo tries to clinch up but Jenkins circles away and keeps his distance. Rigaldo shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Rigaldo showed some decent athleticism there. Rigaldo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Jenkins makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Jenkins will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jenkins gets in close and instigates a clinch. Rigaldo is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Jenkins pulls him back up using the underhooks. Jenkins misses with a short punch on the inside. Jenkins fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Rigaldo doesn't succeed with the takedown and Jenkins counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Jenkins. Jenkins trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jenkins working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Jenkins throws a big right hand that misses. Jenkins is looking to work some ground and pound but Rigaldo has wrist control. Jenkins gets to his feet. Rigaldo looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jenkins looks for a takedown but Rigaldo sprawls well. Jenkins is breathing heavily. Jenkins tries to clinch but Rigaldo is having none of it. Jenkins shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Rigaldo utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Jenkins wants to get up but he can't break Rigaldo's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Jenkins tries to free his leg and advance position but Rigaldo is retaining full guard. Rigaldo preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Rigaldo can't keep his opponent in guard - Jenkins advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Rigaldo is looking to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jenkins passes the guard and advances to mount! Rigaldo suckers Jenkins into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! Rigaldo is now in Jenkins's guard!
Jenkins is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mamoud Jenkins dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Rigaldo wants to clinch but Jenkins slips to the side and Jenkins counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Jenkins wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Rigaldo has him pressed against the cage. Rigaldo keeps control of Jenkins as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Jenkins working aggressively here.
Jenkins scores with a shot to the side of Rigaldo's head. Jenkins wants to get back to striking at distance but Rigaldo won't allow it.

Jenkins tries to break the clinch but Rigaldo is controlling the position. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Jenkins. Jenkins is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Jenkins doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rigaldo closes the distance looking to clinch and Jenkins counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Rigaldo tries to get to full guard but Jenkins has control of the leg.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jenkins throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Rigaldo is breathing heavily. Jenkins throwing shots but Rigaldo is blocking nicely. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Jenkins lands a nice short elbow. Jenkins works his foot free and advances to mount. Jenkins lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Rigaldo is rocked!
It looks like Rock Rigaldo has been cut. Rigaldo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jenkins. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jenkins is landing with some decent strikes but Rigaldo is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Rigaldo is still in real trouble! Can Jenkins finish him? Jenkins lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Rigaldo hang on?
That has opened up Rock Rigaldo's cut even more. Mamoud Jenkins overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. A nice elbow there by Jenkins.
The cut above Rock Rigaldo's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A nice elbow there by Jenkins.
Rock Rigaldo's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Rock Rigaldo's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
