Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Freida Felcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Mako (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mako is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Broken Dreams By Shaman's Harvest. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Felcher dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Mako. That did some damage!
Mako fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Felcher sprawls well initially but Mako persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Felcher looking for submissions off his back.
Mako seems to be working for a kimura but Felcher defends the submission attempt.
Felcher works his way to full guard. Good work.
Felcher looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mako is one step ahead there.

Felcher shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mako sprawls well. Mako wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Felcher gets slowly back to his feet.

Freida Felcher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
A right-left combo lands from Mako.
Mako throws a nice looking combination but Felcher bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Felcher tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mako paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Mako dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Felcher throws a series of strikes that have Mako backpedaling.
Felcher throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Mako takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Felcher doesn't succeed with the takedown
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Mako misses with a takedown attempt
and Felcher decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Mako's guard.

Felcher drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Mako manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Felcher has Mako in his guard.

Mako is stalling here. Felcher is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Mako seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Felcher has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Mako connects with a nice short shot to Felcher's temple.

George Mako comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Mako has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
