The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallace shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Schulz as he jumps to the side.
Wallace shoots for a double leg takedown but Schulz sprawls well. He's pushed Wallace's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Wallace doesn't manage to clinch there - Schulz circles away.

Wallace can't keep his opponent in guard - Schulz advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Schulz is looking for a kimura but Wallace is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Schulz to get the leverage.
Schulz tries to pass the half guard into mount. Wallace knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Wallace is looking to control Schulz's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Wallace avoid being mounted?

Wallace has left one of his arms exposed and Schulz doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Wallace screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
