Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Armando Salazar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodger Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Salazar comes to the cage accompanied by Teardrop-Massive Attack. Tyson has chosen Mjød, Kvelartak as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tyson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Tyson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Tyson wants to stand but Salazar is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
Salazar is looking to improve his position but Tyson isn't that keen on the idea.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Tyson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Salazar keeps working.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Tyson throws a lazy right hand but Salazar sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Salazar is nestled in close to Tyson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Tyson throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Salazar escapes and throws Tyson's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Well Salazar has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
