The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Patrick Alders and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jayme throws a series of strikes that have High backpedaling.
High misses the shot to the body.
No joy there for Jayme, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A punch lands to the side of High 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Jayme jabbing away but nothing is landing.
High misses with a few strikes there.
Jayme connects with a body shot.
Jayme throws a sloppy body shot
enabling High to counter with a crisp jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jayme throws a looping overhand right but High ducks down to avoid it.
High sends Jayme crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! High is motioning to the referee to let Jayme up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
It looks like Keith Jayme has been cut.
High scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
High throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jayme uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by High.
High cracks Jayme with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. High has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Jayme to stand back up!
Jayme is rocked!
Keith Jayme seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A big left from High misses.
High throws the left hand but Jayme avoids the punch easily.
High walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Jayme drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! High swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Jayme's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Phil High!
