Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sanius Viver! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tony Ingram! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Damien Edna and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Viver tries to bum rush Ingram with a series of wild strikes but Ingram uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Ingram tries for a takedown but Viver sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Sanius Viver seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ingram slips under a jab. Viver drops Ingram with a left right combo! Viver follows him down to the ground into side control.
It looks like Tony Ingram has been cut. Viver tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Viver has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Viver really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Ingram is not content to let Viver control the position. Viver tries to stand but Ingram is controlling his head. Viver fails to land a wild elbow strike.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Viver tries to advance to mount but can't. Viver sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Ingram is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Viver is looking to take a break and control but Ingram is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Viver will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Viver misses with a wild body shot. Viver misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A head kick misses from Viver. Viver swings for the body but Ingram moves out of range.
Ingram takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Viver throws out a loose jab but Ingram uses good head movement to avoid it. Ingram bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Viver looks to land a combination but Ingram avoids it well. Viver is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Viver throws a leg kick but Ingram moved away. Viver is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ingram. Viver misses with a jab, cross combination.
Viver tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Viver tries a head kick but it misses.
Ingram gets a takedown into half guard. Ingram slows the pace down in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ingram trying to pass the guard but Viver defending well. Ingram looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Ingram's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Viver throws a nice looking combination but Ingram bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Ingram closes this distance looking for a takedown but Viver circles away. Viver rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ingram moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Viver stuffs the takedown attempt from Ingram. Ingram gets slowly back to his feet. Viver scores with a jab to the jaw. Viver tries a head kick but it misses.
Viver dips to his left and cracks Ingram with an uppercut! Viver keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Sanius Viver has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tony Ingram. Ingram is breathing heavily. Ingram fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. A head kick misses from Viver.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ingram closes this distance looking for a takedown but Viver circles away. Ingram fails with a takedown attempt. A left and a right from Viver both land. Nice combination. Nice jab there from Viver. Viver throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Ingram's head.
Ingram is rocked! Viver swinging wildly here.
Ingram is still on wobbly legs! Can Viver finish him? Some wild striking there from Viver.
Ingram seems to have recovered his senses. Ingram slips a jab from Viver. Ingram slips a jab from Viver. Sanius Viver is winning the standup battle so far. Ingram fails with the takedown. Ingram moves out of range of the leg kick from Viver.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ingram feints and as Viver raises his hands in defense, Ingram changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Ingram is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Despite being in the dominant position, Tony Ingram just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Viver misses with a series of wild punches.
Viver throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Ingram's head. Ingram fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Viver is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Viver is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ingram. Ingram moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Ingram ducks under a wild hook from Viver. Viver misses with a jab, cross combination.
Viver stuffs the takedown attempt from Ingram. Ingram gets slowly back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ingram needs to keep his hands up - Viver had a free shot at his head there. Viver punishes Ingram's body with a nice straight punch. Ingram showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Viver.
Viver stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Viver wants it to stay on the feet. Ingram dodges the punch combination from Viver.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ingram fails with a takedown attempt. Viver misses with a hook. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Ingram drives through with a takedown into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ingram won't allow Viver to get back to his feet. Ingram content to stall in guard here. Ingram stands and throws Viver's legs to the side, diving into side control. Viver tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ingram wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. You can see the frustration on Viver's face as Ingram controls the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. You can see the frustration on Viver's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Ingram controls the position. Let's hope that Ingram has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Sanius Viver is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Viver being controlled for a moment. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that's the end of the fight! Tony Ingram comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Viver has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
