Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Mauricio Rocha and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stife fails with an attempt to clinch.
Stife looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Stife slaps away a takedown attempt from saint, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Stife shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. saint manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
saint scrambles and gets back to his feet.
saint looks to throw the jab but Stife is out of range.
saint looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Stife!
saint moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Stife has worked his arm free - good work by Stife!
Stife wants to control but saint postures up.

Stife is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and saint defends well.

saint seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Stife for as long as he can get away with.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Stife controls saint momentarily but saint frees himself.
Stife is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. saint is aware though and is defending well.

saint is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Stife fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. saint sprawls well initially but Stife persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
saint is refusing to be controlled, as Stife sits in half guard.
Stife is sneakily working for an arm triangle but saint sees it coming and defends easily.
Stife wants to free his trapped foot but saint is holding on for dear life with his legs.
saint is staying active underneath Stife, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Stife is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Stife is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so saint is just riding it out for now. Stife eventually gives up the hold.

That was a close second round but I would say that santos saint will probably get the nod.
That's time! saint's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for saint, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
