Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cid Wakka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergai Poujanofski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sergai Poujanofski is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Cid Wakka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Sergai Poujanofski!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Daniel Bishop and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wakka fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Poujanofski manages to avoid it.
Poujanofski tries to clinch but Wakka moves out of range.
Horrible takedown by Poujanofski or perhaps it was just good defense by Wakka which made him look bad.
Wakka lands with a good body shot.
Wakka paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.


It looks like Sergai Poujanofski has been cut.
Wakka throws a body punch but Poujanofski moves out of range.
Poujanofski will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Poujanofski tries to close the distance and clinch but Wakka swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Poujanofski moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Wakka stuffs the takedown attempt from Poujanofski. Poujanofski gets slowly back to his feet.
Wakka throws a right hand that Poujanofski ducks under and follows up with a left that Poujanofski also avoids with ease.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Poujanofski tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wakka sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Poujanofski somewhat.
Cid Wakka has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sergai Poujanofski.
Wakka will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Poujanofski.
Wakka lands a really nice looking cross but Poujanofski seems unphased.
Poujanofski looks gassed!
Wakka throws a nice looking combination but Poujanofski bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Wakka drops Poujanofski with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Poujanofski looks back up at him and smiles so Wakka waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.


Poujanofski is rocked!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Wakka darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Poujanofski's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Wakka before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Cid Wakka!
