Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vincenzo Alamente (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mohammed Akbar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, jab by Alamente - just one landing.
Alamente misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Alamente attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Alamente shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Akbar but Akbar pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Alamente shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Akbar pinned against the cage. Akbar gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Alamente tries to score with a low kick but Akbar moves his leg out of the way.
Alamente swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Alamente misses with an uppercut.
Alamente takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Alamente fails with a takedown attempt.

Akbar shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Akbar showed some decent athleticism there.

Alamente flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Akbar is nestled in close to Alamente, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Alamente is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Akbar scores with a couple of nice shots.

Akbar wants to free his trapped foot but Alamente is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Akbar looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Akbar really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Alamente. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Alamente misses with a jab, cross combination.

Akbar pushes Alamente up against the cage in a clinch.
Akbar lands a knee to the body.

Akbar stops a takedown attempt from Alamente.

Alamente wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Akbar escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Akbar has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Alamente.
Alamente is breathing heavily.
Akbar fails with the takedown.
Alamente tries for a takedown but Akbar sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Alamente changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Akbar tries to avoid it but Alamente manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Akbar to the ground. Akbar escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Alamente misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Alamente throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Akbar moves into the clinch successfully.

Alamente drags the fight down to the ground.
Alamente bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Akbar's guard.
Akbar can't keep his opponent in guard - Alamente advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
BOOM! Alamente connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Alamente wants to control the pace but Akbar is squirming around nicely.
Akbar is trying to escape the mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Alamente dances in with a quick combination. Akbar is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Alamente snaps Akbar's head back. Akbar stumbles backwards against the cage. Alamente steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Akbar's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Akbar just didn't come prepared.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Vincenzo Alamente!
