Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jon Yankowy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vinnie Gambino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yankowy comes to the cage accompanied by 1000 Flamen. Vinnie Gambino has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jon Yankowy's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Yankowy with that takedown attempt.
Vinnie Gambino seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Yankowy walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

It looks like Jon Yankowy has been cut.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Yankowy shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Gambino is trying to defend but Yankowy finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Yankowy is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Gambino will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Yankowy seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Gambino for as long as he can get away with.

A punch lands to the side of Yankowy 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Yankowy tries to clinch but Gambino is having none of it.

Gambino lands a left and a right that send Yankowy crashing to the mat, dazed. Gambino thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Gambino misses with a kick to the body

and Yankowy counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Gambino!
Oh Yankowy is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Yankowy takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Gambino has left one of his arms exposed and Yankowy doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Gambino screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
