The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcmannus walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Andersson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Duke Mcmannus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mcmannus tries to close the distance and clinch but Andersson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Mcmannus tries a head kick but it misses.
Andersson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Mcmannus looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Mcmannus tries to clinch but Andersson is having none of it.

Andersson misses with a wild body shot.
Andersson jabs Mcmannus right on the nose. Mcmannus blinks but takes it well.
Mcmannus looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Andersson is fending him off so far but Mcmannus persists. Nope, Andersson circles away and we're back to standing.
Andersson changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Andersson bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Mcmannus dives in and grabs Andersson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Andersson pushes down on Mcmannus's head and hops out.

Andersson measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Mcmannus! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
