The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDrunken scores with a nice strike.
Trombone takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Trombone misses with a looping left.
Trombone walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

McDrunken drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
McDrunken keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Trombone's head.
Trombone preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

McDrunken avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Trombone closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming McDrunken to the mat! McDrunken manages to get full guard.

Trombone postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! McDrunken is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Trombone, into his guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
McDrunken throws a big right hand that misses.
Trombone is controlling McDrunken's posture.
McDrunken trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
McDrunken postures up and lands a big shot to Trombone's brow.

McDrunken wants to control from the top but Trombone keeps moving.

Trombone shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches McDrunken napping and manages to drive through into side control!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

No joy there for McDrunken, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

McDrunken jabs Trombone right on the nose. Trombone blinks but takes it well.
Trombone has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Trombone there as he acknowledges the shot.
McDrunken scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
McDrunken changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Trombone tries to avoid it but McDrunken manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Trombone to the ground. Trombone escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Rusty Trombone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyler McDrunken.

McDrunken fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Trombone manages to avoid it.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Trombone doesn't manage to clinch there - McDrunken circles away.

Trombone moves out of range of the leg kick from McDrunken.
McDrunken has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Trombone shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as McDrunken sprawls well. McDrunken wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Trombone gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rusty Trombone. That's going to take a lot out of him.

McDrunken looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Trombone is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

McDrunken bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Trombone's head.

McDrunken fails to land the takedown.
Trombone throws a sloppy head kick and McDrunken moves out of range easily.
McDrunken tests Trombone's chin there with a solid looking shot.

I would just about give that final round to Tyler McDrunken.
I've got McDrunken winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
