The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manhoef tries for a takedown but Jenna sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Jenna displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Manhoef.
Manhoef scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Jenna regains half guard, as Manhoef was trying to land strikes.
Manhoef winds up and cracks Jenna with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Jenna is staying active underneath Manhoef, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Manhoef is really struggling to control Jenna but he's trying to hold on to the position.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Manhoef lands a nice short elbow.

Manhoef dives in and grabs Jenna 's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jenna pushes down on Manhoef's head and hops out.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Jenna throws a right and a left that Manhoef avoids nicely.

Jenna can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Manhoef controls the pace.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Melvin Manhoef.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Manhoef, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
