Stoner kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Why Can't We Be Friends?. Wechsel has chosen Faith No More - The Morning After as his entrance music. Wally Wechsel has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wechsel pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Stoner is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Wechsel.
Stoner instigates a clinch.

Wechsel is trying to maintain a safe position but Stoner gets an underhook and turns Wechsel into the cage.

Wechsel throws a sloppy head kick and Stoner moves out of range easily.

Wechsel throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Wechsel delivers a nice body kick.
Wechsel looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Stoner is breathing heavily.
The fighters circling - Wechsel throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Stoner throws a right and a left that Wechsel avoids nicely.
Wechsel lands with a kick to the temple. Stoner shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wechsel misses with a head kick.
Wechsel ducks under a wild hook from Stoner.
A chopping leg kick lands by Wechsel.
Wechsel thumps Stoner with a low kick.
Wally Wechsel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Stoner tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Wechsel lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Wechsel, right into the meat.
Wechsel bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Stoner's head.
Wechsel cracks Stoner with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Good leg kick by Wechsel there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Stoner tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Wechsel wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
A nice leg kick lands there from Wechsel.
Wechsel misses with a few strikes there.
Stoner chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Wechsel can pounce on him.
Stoner takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Stoner stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Wechsel.
A solid body kick from Wechsel.
Wechsel thuds his shin into the meat of Stoner's side.
Wechsel cracks Stoner with an open hand slap.
Wechsel scores with a crisp jab that stopped Stoner in his tracks.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Wechsel, right into the meat.
Wechsel lands a big head kick that sends Stoner tumbling to the mat! Wechsel takes a step backwards and waves Stoner back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Stoner is rocked!

Wechsel lands a brutal head kick. Stoner looks out on his feet and Wechsel throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
