The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mattos closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Jenkins looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Jenkins's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Jenkins got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mattos has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jenkins has managed to get both his arms back between Mattos's legs - danger averted.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

That was a close round but I would say that Claudio Mattos will probably get the nod.
