The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Socamo throws a lazy right hand but Weston sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Weston displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Socamo throws out the jab.
Socamo misses the shot to the body.
Socamo throws a big shot that misses.
Socamo lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Michael Weston seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Weston tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Socamo paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Weston shoots for a takedown but Socamo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Socamo lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Socamo feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Weston sprawling to the canvas! Weston rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Socamo finish him?!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A big right from Socamo misses.
No joy there for Weston, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Socamo just misses with a punch to the body.

Socamo lands a big uppercut and Weston crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Weston looks OK. Socamo waves Weston back to his feet!

Socamo lands with a good body shot.
Socamo lands a brutal uppercut that launches Weston off his feet! Weston tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
