The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Murney should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bokserski drops back, looking for a kneebar! Murney looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Murney looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Murney!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Bokserski is not content to let Murney control the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Bokserski looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Murney falls off balance throwing a combination
and Bokserski counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

A looping hook to the body misses from Murney. Bokserski does a little dance to reset his feet.

Bokserski throws a sloppy head kick and Murney moves out of range easily.
Murney cracks Bokserski with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Murney closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Chris Murney showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Murney scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Murney stalks Bokserski and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Bokserski's face. Bokserski staggers backwards, shaken.
Bokserski throws a right hand that Murney ducks under and follows up with a left that Murney also avoids with ease.

Bokserski doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Murney pushes Bokserski back against the ropes and unloads with a body punch.
Murney is trying to drag Bokserski to the mat but Bokserski just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there.

Murney turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Murney manages to end up in side control.
Murney wants to stand but Bokserski has his arm trapped.

Murney is looking to take a break and control but Bokserski is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
