The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vanvorst lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
It looks like Fedor Emporer has been cut.
Vanvorst circles away from the clinch attempt.
Vanvorst keeps the fight on the outside.
Emporer is looking to clinch but Vanvorst is avoiding it.
Emporer pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Emporer tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Vanvorst swivels and escapes.
Vanvorst moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

and Vanvorst counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Emporer is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Emporer lands a nice shot that snaps Vanvorst's head back.
Vanvorst lands a jab to the nose.

and Vanvorst counters with a right hand to the body.
