Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Keijo Sardiini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Snuka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sardiini comes to the cage accompanied by We Are The Kings. The crowd seem to be enjoying Snuka's choice of entrance music: Superfly. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Keijo Sardiini! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 0 - 1, fighting out of New York, Jimmy Snuka! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Alec Ball and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Snuka stuns Sardiini with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Snuka gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Snuka blocks a jab. A telegraphed right hand from Sardiini misses the target. Sardiini tries a low kick but Snuka avoids it. Sardiini lands a jab to the nose. Sardiini fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Snuka is trying hard to land a takedown here. Sardiini sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Snuka looks to score with a jab to the body but Sardiini is just out of range. Sardiini scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Sardiini defending well as Snuka loads up on a big left hand. Sardiini throws a half hearted mid kick. Snuka slips a jab from Sardiini. Snuka ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Sardiini lands a lovely overhand right. Sardiini misses with a straight left. Sardiini attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Sardiini misses the jab. Keijo Sardiini is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sardiini takes a swing at Snuka's ribcage but misses. Sardiini throws a hook but Snuka avoids it easily. A shot to de liver by Snuka. Beautiful body shot. Snuka checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Sardiini connects with a good right hand that stumbles Snuka. Snuka circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Sardiini will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Snuka uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Sardiini. Snuka bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. A jab lands there for Sardiini. Snuka looks to score with a jab to the body but Sardiini is just out of range. Jab by Sardiini. Snuka dips to his left and cracks Sardiini with an uppercut! Snuka throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Snuka lunges at Sardiini with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Sardiini's hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A slow jab from Sardiini misses its intended target. Sardiini looks to land a left hand but Snuka moved out of range nicely. Sardiini thows a body shot but no joy. Sardiini throws the left hand but Snuka avoids the punch easily. Snuka throws a predictable looking body shot
and Sardiini counters with a lovely shot to the body. Snuka uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Sardiini. Sardiini just misses with a punch to the body.

Sardiini misses with an uppercut. A looping hook to the body misses from Sardiini. Snuka does a little dance to reset his feet. Sardiini stuffs the takedown. Snuka shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sardiini but Sardiini pushes him off and we're back to square one. Keijo Sardiini has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimmy Snuka. Snuka misses with a looping right.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Snuka swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Snuka misses with a hook. Sardiini ducked under it nicely. Snuka changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sardiini tries to avoid it but Snuka manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sardiini to the ground. Sardiini escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Sardiini misses with an uppercut. Snuka saw that one coming. Sardiini misses with a looping right. Snuka keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Snuka comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Sardiini walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Snuka checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Snuka jabbing away but nothing is landing. Sardiini lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Snuka slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Sardiini throws a low kick but it's checked well by Snuka. Snuka blocks a jab.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sardiini scores with a leg kick.
Snuka looks to throw the jab but Sardiini is out of range. Sardiini throws a jab when Snuka was well out of range. Sardiini misses with a looping left. Snuka lands an overhand right. A bone on bone clash there as Snuka blocks the leg kick.
Snuka throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Keijo Sardiini seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sardiini ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Snuka moves away. Snuka is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Sardiini's half guard. Sardiini tries to get to full guard but Snuka has control of the leg. Sardiini is working hard here to advance position. Sardiini won't allow Snuka to pass to mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Keijo Sardiini will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Snuka takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Sardiini swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Sardiini connects with a solid leg kick. Sardiini throws a leg kick that misses. Snuka lands a jab. Sardiini works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Snuka misses with a shot to the body and Sardiini counters with a good low kick that Snuka was not able to check. Sardiini misses with an uppercut. Snuka misses with a wild body shot. Sardiini throws out a leg kick but Snuka moves out of range and Sardiini only half commits. Sardiini wants to land a leg kick but Snuka is out of range. Sardiini takes a swing at Snuka's ribcage but misses. Sardiini misses with a body shot
and Snuka counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Sardiini! Sardiini can't escape the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Snuka is in the full mount, landing strikes. Snuka looking to control but Sardiini is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Snuka cracks Sardiini with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

It looks like Keijo Sardiini has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sardiini is looking to get to half guard. Oh Sardiini is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Snuka fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Snuka loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Sardiini scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Snuka land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Snuka stands and salutes the crowd.
