The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Luis Engracia and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leonardo shoots in but Wall avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Wall looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

Leonardo wants to stand and escape but Wall is having none of it.
Wall drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Wall jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Leonardo is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Leonardo lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Wall backs up against the cage.

Leonardo bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Leonardo decides to stand up, so the ref orders Wall to his feet.

Wall is trying to stick to Leonardo's back but Leonardo is turning into Wall. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Wall's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Leonardo.

Wall bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Leonardo's guard.
Wall drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Leonardo manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Wall has Leonardo in his guard.
Wall had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Leonardo is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Wall Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Leonardo's back instead.
Wall looking to break Leonardo's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Leonardo remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Wall will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
