Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carl Sherdog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kjell Dillon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Carl Sherdog! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kjell Dillon! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Edson Gomes and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dillon throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dillon closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Dillon stands up and beckons Sherdog to his feet. Sherdog with a poor takedown and Dillon counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Dillon is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Sherdog knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dillon on the ground. Sherdog is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Dillon is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Dillon postures up in Sherdog's guard and throws a big left but Sherdog blocks it. Dillon wants to pass the guard but Sherdog is keeping the position. Dillon is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Dillon thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sherdog looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dillon is one step ahead there.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Sherdog tries for a takedown but Dillon circles away easily and Dillon counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Dillon. Dillon works a leg free and moves into half guard. Dillon is looking to take a break and control but Sherdog is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Sherdog trying to control but Dillon postures up.
Sherdog avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Dillon. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dillon content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Dillon seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Sherdog does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Dillon wants to pass to mount but Sherdog is defending the position. Dillon looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dillon works his foot free and advances to mount. Dillon postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Sherdog looks a forlorn figure.
Dillon trying to control but Sherdog is having none of it. Dillon working for a guillotine from mount but Sherdog is in no mood to give up. Dillon throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Sherdog is desperately trying to improve his position but Dillon has a good base and remains in mount. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Dillon sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Sherdog is trying to escape the mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dillon looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Dillon controlling from mount. Dillon working Sherdog over with strikes here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dillon lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Dillon jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Sherdog is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Sherdog and Dillon has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Dillon trying to control the action but Sherdog is working from the bottom. Sherdog manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Dillon is looking to improve his position.
Dillon makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Dillon. Dillon has control of Sherdog's left arm, preventing Sherdog from doing any damage. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Dillon has a closed guard, preventing Sherdog from standing up. Sherdog pushes down on Dillon's leg and manages to get into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kjell Dillon dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Dillon looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Sherdog! Sherdog wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Dillon landing punches. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dillon in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
It looks like Carl Sherdog has been cut. Dillon working for a guillotine from mount but Sherdog is in no mood to give up. Sherdog is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Dillon has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Dillon landing shots from mount. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dillon can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Sherdog is looking to escape. Kjell Dillon has got the better of the ground game so far. Sherdog has left one of his arms exposed and Dillon doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Sherdog screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
