Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jack Rip (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenny Yoho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kenny Yoho is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jack Rip! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kenny Yoho! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Ren Mimura and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rip throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Yoho's waist but Yoho gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rip off to one side. Rip takes a swing at Yoho's ribcage but misses. Danga de danga de dang - Yoho scores with a four punch combination! Yoho scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Rip is trying to improve his position. Rip bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Rip misses with a takedown attempt and Yoho counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Yoho is pressing down on Rip's thigh, looking to free his foot. Rip is holding on for now. Rip avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Yoho. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rip is trying to stand up here but Yoho is controlling him well. Yoho is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Rip still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Rip has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! Rip working the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Yoho is trying to improve his position. Yoho wants to get back to his feet but Rip drags him back down. Rip stands up. Rip looks to land a combination but Yoho avoids it well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yoho shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Rip napping and manages to drive through into side control! Yoho is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Rip is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rip is trying to control Yoho's posture but Yoho avoids it. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Rip is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Yoho tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Rip is positioning himself to get back to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kenny Yoho dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Rip looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Yoho keeping moving, preventing Rip from controlling successfully. Rip in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rip wanted to stand there but Yoho had control of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yoho is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Rip decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Yoho avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Yoho looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Yoho is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rip wants to sweep but no luck. Yoho drops back, looking for a kneebar! Rip looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Rip looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Rip! Rip lands a nice forearm strike.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rip is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Yoho can't do much from the bottom here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Yoho is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Rip asserts his dominance and retains side control. Yoho taking punishment in the form of punches.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Yoho is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Rip dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Nice body kick from Rip. Rip darts in and clinches Yoho up against the cage. Yoho jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Rip walks away with a smile on his face. Yoho gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Rip tries to clinch but Yoho moves away and Yoho counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Rip! Kenny Yoho has got the better of the ground game so far. Rip is looking to improve his position but Yoho isn't that keen on the idea.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rip is squirming around, avoiding Yoho's attempts to control the action. Rip tries to get back to half guard but can't. Yoho controlling his opponent. Rip is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Yoho looking for a guillotine from mount but Rip is having none of it. Rip manages to regain half guard. Good work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rip has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Yoho is working away from the top position though. The fighters are battling for position here. Rip manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Rip keeping moving, preventing Yoho from controlling successfully. Yoho stopping the sweep attempt from Rip.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Rip looking for a guillotine here but Yoho defends easily.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Rip keeping moving, preventing Yoho from controlling successfully.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Kenny Yoho. I think Yoho has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
