Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dakota Finley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Penny Kimura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Finley's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Bad Company. Penny Kimura will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dakota Finley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Penny Kimura! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Finley gets caught flat footed, as Kimura shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Finley pulls Kimura in close to his closed guard and prevents Kimura from doing any damage or advancing position. Finley avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Kimura in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Finley controlling Kimura's posture. Finley manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Kimura is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Finley punching from mount but Kimura doing a good job of avoiding damage. Kimura takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kimura tries to hold on but Finley postures up. Finley connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Finley moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Kimura has worked his arm free - good work by Kimura!
Finley wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kimura keeps working. Finley is chipping away with strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kimura sneaks out the side door and pushes Finley away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Kimura fails with a takedown attempt. Finley slaps away a takedown attempt from Kimura, before circling back to the center of the mat. Kimura checks a leg kick. Kimura wants to clinch up but Finley keeps it at a distance. Finley closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Kimura managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Finley.
Finley in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Kimura gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kimura keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Kimura looks gassed! Finley unloading with bombs! Finley landing strikes from the mount and Kimura is in trouble! Poor strikes thrown by Finley there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Kimura is looking to get to half guard. BOOM! Finley connects with a massive shot to the dome!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Finley throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Kimura wants to get back to his feet.

Finley postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Kimura looks a forlorn figure.
A nice elbow there by Finley. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Finley lands a heavy elbow. Finley postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Kimura looks a forlorn figure.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dakota Finley dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Finley decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Kimura wants to control but Finley is keeping busy and won't allow it. Kimura blocking the ground and pound attempt from Finley. Finley thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Kimura is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Finley thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kimura's head. Finley is looking to take a break and control but Kimura is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Finley looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Kimura is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Finley trying to control from half guard but Kimura is working away.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Finley forces Kimura back against the cage and clinches. Kimura drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Finley gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Kimura is trying to drag Finley to the mat but Finley just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Dakota Finley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Penny Kimura. Kimura tries for a takedown but Finley manages to get underhooks.
Kimura creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Kimura drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Finley gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Finley is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Kimura gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Finley gets a trip takedown into half guard. Finley slips a nice elbow through Kimura's hands, connecting with Kimura's forehead. Kimura blocking the ground and pound attempt from Finley. Finley stands up and beckons Kimura to join him on the feet. Finley closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Kimura is not content to let Finley control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Finley decides to stand up, so the ref orders Kimura to his feet. The fight moves into the clinch position. Kimura gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Finley regains guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kimura accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Finley is trying to keep Kimura in close.
Finley wants to stand but Kimura is controlling the position. Finley has a closed guard, preventing Kimura from standing up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kimura being controlled here momentarily. Finley lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Kimura! Finley raining down shots from the mount! Finley scoring with strikes but Kimura is staying in there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dakota Finley dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Kimura doesn't succeed with the takedown and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Kimura closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Finley did well to prevent Kimura getting side control. Finley trying to control from the bottom.
The fighters are battling for position here. Finley manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Kimura won't allow Finley to sweep him here. Finley pushes Kimura off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Finley shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Kimura is trying to defend but Finley finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Finley seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kimura does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kimura has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Finley is working away from the top position though. Kimura tries to kick Finley off but Finley keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Kimura is looking to improve his position.
Nice strikes from Finley there. Finley is working for a submission of some sort.
Kimura won't allow Finley to pass to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Finley thows a huge punch but Kimura dodges it nicely.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Finley drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Finley wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kimura, who protects the arm well. Finley stands up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kimura doesn't succeed with the takedown and Finley counters by clinching up. Finley gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Kimura.
Dakota Finley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Penny Kimura. Finley lands a knee to the head.
Finley tightens his grip and picks Kimura up, before dumping him to the ground. Kimura manages to land in guard. Finley wants to control from the top but Kimura keeps moving. Kimura working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Finley. Kimura keeping moving, preventing Finley from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Finley looking to sit in guard and control but Kimura gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Kimura gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Finley fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kimura sprawls well initially but Finley persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Finley prevents Kimura from standing back up.
Finley wants to pass the guard but Kimura is defending well. Kimura moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Dakota Finley showed his dominance in that final round. Well Finley has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
