Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tong Van damm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve McRae (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McRae comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Indestructible kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tong Van damm!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Steve McRae!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McRae is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
A slow jab from Van damm misses its intended target.
Van damm connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed McRae momentarily.
McRae scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
McRae throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Van damm staying out of range there.

and McRae counters with a right hand that sends Van damm tumbling to the canvas! Can McRae finish him? He dives into Van damm's guard looking to do just that!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as McRae accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

McRae is pushing down on Van damm's leg trying to pass to half guard. Van damm is fighting to maintain full guard but McRae has managed to sneak the leg through.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
McRae stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Van damm swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Van damm slaps away a takedown attempt from McRae, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Van damm plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Van damm will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
McRae tries to score a power double leg takedown but Van damm sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten McRae somewhat.
McRae looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Van damm is fending him off so far but McRae persists. Nope, Van damm circles away and we're back to standing.
Tong Van damm has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steve McRae.
McRae throws a series of punches but Van damm avoids them all with ease.

Steve McRae comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well McRae has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
