Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ryuzaki Kimura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sossu Pummi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sossu Pummi will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Frank Dennis and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pummi dives in and grabs Kimura's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kimura pushes down on Pummi's head and hops out.
Pummi doesn't manage to clinch there - Kimura circles away.
Pummi fails in his attempt to clinch.
Pummi tries to close the distance and clinch but Kimura swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Pummi tries to clinch but Kimura is having none of it.
Pummi shoots in for a takedown but Kimura shows good takedown defense.
Kimura shoots for a double leg takedown but Pummi sprawls well. He's pushed Kimura's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Kimura looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Pummi is in trouble now - Kimura has advanced to mount!
Pummi is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

Pummi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kimura. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

You get the feeling that Pummi really doesn't like being in this position too much.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
