Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Vampiro Vampire! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Daniel Daniels! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Andrew Berry and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A slow jab from Vampire misses its intended target. Daniels throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Vampire with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Daniels to score with a decent uppercut. Vampire throws an overhand right that lands on Daniels's shoulder, as Daniels tries to avoid the shot. Vampire blocks a head kick by Daniels.
Daniels throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Daniels cracks the inside of Vampire's front leg. Vampire moves away from the strike by Daniels. Vampire moves away from the strike by Daniels. Vampire misses with a low kick.
Daniels throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Daniels moves away from the strike by Vampire. Daniels misses with a body shot.
Vampire avoids the head kick by Daniels.
Vampire throws a right and a left that both miss. Daniels pulls out of a head kick attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Daniels takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. The fighters circling - Daniels throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Daniels looks to land a combination but Vampire avoids it well. Vampire takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Daniels rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Vampire moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Vampire keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Daniels. Vampire connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Daniels throws the kick towards the body but Vampire avoids it. Daniels throws a lazy right hand but Vampire sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Daniels scores with a kick to the midsection. Daniels fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Vampire scores with a sloppy right hand. Daniels should have avoided that one. Vampire gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Daniels blocks an elbow strike. Still in the clinch, Vampire scores with a nice short uppercut. A short uppercut from Vampire. Daniels is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes. Vampire misses with a hook from the clinch. Daniels escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Vampire misses with a straight left. A swing and a miss from Daniels. Vampire pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Vampire moves into range and clinches up with Daniels. Daniels tries a body shot but Vampire blocks it.
Vampire blocks an uppercut.
Daniels digs a right hand underneath Vampire's ribcage. Vampire let out a lung full of air as it connected. Vampire is working Daniels over against the ropes. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Daniels. Daniels can't break the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vampire lands an elbow that stopped Daniels in his tracks for a moment. Daniels trying to control the position but instead, Vampire has worked for underhooks and has pushed Daniels into the ropes. Vampire has Daniels pushed against the ropes. Daniels is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes. Knees in the clinch landing for Daniels.
Daniels misses with the head strike.
Vampire displaying some good clinch control by pressing Daniels up against the ropes. Daniels wants to stall.
Vampire misses with an elbow strike.
Nice elbow from Vampire. Daniels tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Vampire smiles and moves away.
Vampire looks to land a left hand but Daniels moved out of range nicely. Daniels misses with a straight left. Daniels throws a one two combo.
Vampire takes one to the chin there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vampire throws a hook to the side of Daniels's head but Daniels sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Daniels looks to throw the jab but Vampire is out of range. Vampire tries a head kick but it misses.
Daniels misses with a straight left. Daniels missing with a left hand there. Vampire was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Vampire throws an overhand right that lands on Daniels's shoulder, as Daniels tries to avoid the shot. Vampire waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Daniels. Vampire throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Vampire pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Vampire fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Vampire takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Vampire uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Daniels. Daniels misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Vampire.
Daniels looks to land a right hand but Vampire moved out of range. Jab by Daniels. Vampire throws an overhand right that lands on Daniels's shoulder, as Daniels tries to avoid the shot. Vampire thuds his right hand into Daniels's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Daniels throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Vampire thows a left - swing and a miss! Vampire is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A big right from Daniels misses. Nice uppercut there from Daniels. Daniels changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Daniels lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Vampire circles away quickly and effectively. A big left from Daniels misses. Daniels throws an overhand right that lands on Vampire's shoulder, as Vampire tries to avoid the shot. A swing and a miss from Vampire. Daniels scores with a jab. Daniels takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Daniels throws the left hand but Vampire avoids the punch easily. Daniels throws a lazy head kick and Vampire makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Daniels looks gassed! A jab lands there for Vampire. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A punch combination from Vampire misses. Daniels doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Vampire scores with the left hand. Daniels knows he should have avoided that one. Daniels fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Vampire is out of range. Vampire scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Vampire connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Daniels is rocked! Vampire misses with a hook. Daniels ducked under it nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vampiro Vampire dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Vampire looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Daniels is still on wobbly legs! Can Vampire finish him? A jab from Vampire misses. Daniels throws a big shot that misses. Daniels seems to have recovered his senses. Vampire uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Daniels. Vampire throws out a loose jab but Daniels uses good head movement to avoid it. Vampire lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Vampire scores with a jab. Vampire drops Daniels with a huge uppercut! Daniels drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Vampire is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
