Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tyson Carr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grady Woods (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tyson Carr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Grady Woods! The judges for this bout are , and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Woods shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Carr but Carr pushes him off and we're back to square one. Woods fails with the takedown. Nice sprawl there from Carr as Woods shoots in. Tyson Carr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Grady Woods. Carr throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Woods closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Carr did well to prevent Woods getting side control. Carr is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Woods wants to work for an arm triangle but Carr is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Carr strikes from the bottom but Woods passes into mount!
Woods content just to control the position here. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carr tries to reverse the position but Woods maintains control. Woods thowing shots but they're missing. Woods looking to ground and pound but Carr is blocking nicely. Carr wants to control but Woods is having none of it. Carr slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Carr makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Carr. Woods looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Carr escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Woods gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Carr is looking to stand up but Woods isn't so interested in that idea. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Carr keeping moving, preventing Woods from controlling successfully. Carr wants to stand but Woods is controlling the position. Carr trying to strike off his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carr looking for a sweep. Not yet Carr, not yet. Carr trying to control the position here. Woods must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Carr is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Woods looking to sit in guard and control but Carr gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Woods keeping moving, preventing Carr from controlling successfully.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Carr misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Carr shoots and misses and Woods counters with a nice double leg into guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Carr is on top in guard.

Carr not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Carr wants to control from the top but Woods keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Grady Woods will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.
Carr shoots in but Woods avoids the takedown attempt easily. Grady Woods seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Carr closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The referee asks Carr politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Carr prefers to stall for the moment though. Carr wants to control but Woods is keeping him busy. Carr looks up at the clock and then as Woods takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Carr smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Carr is looking to take a break and control but Woods is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Carr is putting a hurting on Woods here, landing some big shots from side control. Woods is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carr wants to stand but Woods is controlling his arm. Carr lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Woods down.
Carr wants to control but Woods is keeping him busy. Carr works to advance to full mount. Woods defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Carr working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Woods is squirming around, avoiding Carr's attempts to control the action. Carr prevents Woods from getting the reversal.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carr wants to control the pace but Woods is squirming around nicely. Carr landing strikes, looking to finish! Woods taking shots to the head. Carr trying to control but Woods is having none of it. Carr looking to control and managing it successfully.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Tyson Carr just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Carr shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Woods manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Carr lands a couple of elbows. Carr trying to control the position from guard on top but Woods is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Carr is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Woods is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Carr slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Carr trying to control the position but Woods is working away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tyson Carr dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Woods avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Carr shoots for a takedown but Woods saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Woods throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

and Carr counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Nice sprawl there from Woods as Carr shoots in. Carr scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Woods tries to buck Carr off but Carr is having none of it. Carr is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Woods will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Woods takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Carr looks up at the clock and then as Woods takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Carr smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
That's one minute gone in the round. Carr happy to just control the position for now. Carr lands a nice forearm strike. Carr is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Woods is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Carr wants to lay and pray for a moment but Woods keeps working. Carr is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Tyson Carr overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Tyson Carr. Carr closes the distance and clinches up with Woods, looking for a takedown. Carr pushes Woods against the ropes but Woods circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tyson Carr. That's going to take a lot out of him. Carr gets a takedown into half guard. Carr prevents Woods from improving his position. Carr lands strikes from half guard. Carr missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Carr is trying to control the action in half guard but Woods is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carr frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Woods is squirming around, avoiding Carr's attempts to control the action. Carr breaks from Woods's wrist control and lands an elbow. Carr wants to control the pace but Woods is squirming around nicely. Carr takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Carr lands a big shot there that rocks Woods but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Carr controlling from mount. Carr is landing with some decent strikes but Woods is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Carr trying to control but he's not successful this time. Carr controlling the pace for now.
And that's the end of the fight! Tyson Carr showed his dominance in that final round. Well Carr has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
