Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Rob Cunning!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Travis Back!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Colin Fotheringham and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cunning darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Back looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Back is staying active underneath Cunning, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Ground and pound from Cunning.
Cunning thows a huge punch but Back dodges it nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cunning is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Back is standing up over Cunning. Cunning looks to escape but Back dives into side control.
Cunning is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Back asserts his dominance and retains side control.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Cunning throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

Cunning jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Back wants to clinch but Cunning slips to the side

and Cunning holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Back with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.

Cunning lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Back blocking the ground and pound attempt from Cunning.
Cunning is just content to waste time from the top position. Back takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Cunning thows a big elbow that misses.
Cunning has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Back is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Cunning is controlling him.
Cunning stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Back swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Back preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Cunning is in close to Back's body, working some short punches and elbows.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Cunning digs a right hand underneath Back's ribcage. Back let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Cunning has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Back off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Cunning lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Cunning.

and Cunning counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Back is working an open guard so Cunning takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Cunning lands a head shot.
Back tries to clinch but Cunning moves away
and Cunning connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Back tries to clinch up but Cunning circles away and keeps his distance.

Cunning feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Rob Cunning overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Back.

Cunning throws a strike but Back rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Cunning is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Cunning is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Back can do to turn this around?
Back lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

Back throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Cunning blocks it with crossed arms.
A frustrated look appears on Cunning's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Cunning has picked Back up - he's going for a ride! Cunning dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Cunning tries to stand and escape but Back is controlling the position.
Back tries to kick Cunning off but Cunning keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Travis Back has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Cunning is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Cunning is nestled in close to Back, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
