Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ilan Rotberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ilan Rotberg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Diego Alves!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rotberg swats away the attempt to clinch by Alves.
Alves tries to clinch but Rotberg moves out of range.
Alves tries to clinch up but Rotberg circles away and keeps his distance.
Rotberg has closed the distance and engaged Alves in a clinch.
Alves has had enough of the clinch but Rotberg keeps him there for the moment.
Alves has Rotberg pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Rotberg manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Alves goes for a takedown attempt but Rotberg pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Rotberg closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Rotberg lands in his opponent's guard.
Alves looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Rotberg stops Alves from standing up.
Rotberg sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Alves wants to get back to his feet but Rotberg is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Alves looking for a sweep. Not yet Alves, not yet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rotberg seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Rotberg pushes down on Alves's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Rotberg stands up and beckons Alves to join him on the feet.
Alves throws a nice looking combination but Rotberg bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Alves looks gassed!
Jab, jab by Alves - just one landing.
Rotberg closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Alves to the mat! Alves manages to get full guard.
Rotberg forces his way into half guard.
Rotberg passes to side control.
Rotberg has an Americana. Alves didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Rotberg is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Rotberg hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Ilan Rotberg!
