The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Jonathan Paton and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vermillion throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Max Vermillion seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tameo tries to bum rush Vermillion with a series of wild strikes but Vermillion uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Vermillion keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Vermillion swats away the attempt to clinch by Tameo.
The fight stays on the outside here - Tameo looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Vermillion seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Tameo for as long as he can get away with.
