Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between James Carrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maritn Boudreaux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boudreaux is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Prince. Maritn Boudreaux is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, James Carrow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Maritn Boudreaux!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Bruno Lombardi and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carrow blocks a head kick by Boudreaux.
Boudreaux moves in looking to clinch but Carrow pushes him off.
Carrow throws out a loose jab but Boudreaux uses good head movement to avoid it.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Boudreaux is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Carrow missing with a left hand there. Boudreaux was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Carrow bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Carrow lands a nice forearm strike.
Carrow is working Boudreaux over with some ground and pound from side control.

Carrow is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Boudreaux is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Boudreaux wants to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Carrow working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Carrow is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Boudreaux is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Carrow wants to control but Boudreaux is keeping him busy.
Boudreaux is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Carrow has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Carrow has hold of Boudreaux's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Boudreaux seems comfortable defending it but Carrow has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Boudreaux is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Boudreaux is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Carrow couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). James Carrow!
