Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ben McEnsie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vincenzo Milano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McEnsie comes to the cage accompanied by You Can Do It. Milano has chosen AC/DC - If You Want Blood as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ben McEnsie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vincenzo Milano!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Franklyn Lucas and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for McEnsie, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
McEnsie lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Milano shoots in but no luck this time.
McEnsie throws a head kick that misses.
Ben McEnsie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McEnsie pulls out of a head kick attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McEnsie will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
McEnsie tried to score with a low kick but Milano checks it.

McEnsie fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Milano is looking to clinch but McEnsie is avoiding it.
McEnsie misses with a few strikes there.
McEnsie looks to land a combination but Milano avoids it well.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Milano shoots in for a takedown but McEnsie shows good takedown defense.

McEnsie stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and McEnsie wants it to stay on the feet.
Ben McEnsie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vincenzo Milano.

McEnsie throws a leg kick but Milano moved away.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


McEnsie throws a right hand that Milano ducks under and follows up with a left that Milano also avoids with ease.

and McEnsie counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Milano cracks the inside of McEnsie's front leg.

McEnsie keeping hold of Milano's head, controlling as best he can.
Milano wants to control but McEnsie is keeping him busy.
Milano drops an elbow to the side of McEnsie's head.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Milano seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but McEnsie does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Milano is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

McEnsie is defending against the submission attempts here by Milano.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
McEnsie throws a lazy head kick

and Milano counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Milano wants to pass the guard but McEnsie is keeping the position.

McEnsie wants to sweep here but Milano controlling him for the moment.

McEnsie pushes Milano off and gets back to his feet.
McEnsie swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Milano moves into the clinch.
Milano is trying to drag McEnsie to the mat but McEnsie just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Milano lands an uppercut.
McEnsie is trying to break the clinch but Milano has him pressed against the cage.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Milano is looking for a takedown up against the cage. McEnsie gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Ben McEnsie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vincenzo Milano.

Milano has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics McEnsie uses from the top position.

Vincenzo Milano showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

McEnsie throws a front kick aimed at Milano's knee but Milano avoids it well.
McEnsie misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Milano.

and Milano counters with a nice double leg into side control. McEnsie won't be happy with that.
Milano working the strikes but McEnsie uses the opportunity to regain half guard.

McEnsie is not content to let Milano control the position.

Milano wants to work for an arm triangle but McEnsie is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Milano is looking for submissions but instead, McEnsie has regained full guard.
Milano looking to sit in guard and control but McEnsie gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
McEnsie stays in close to Milano's body and controls the position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
McEnsie thows a big elbow that misses.

McEnsie stands up from guard. Let's bang!
McEnsie misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

and Milano counters with a flying knee. Nice.

and Milano counters with a shoot takedown. McEnsie fights it but they end up in guard.

McEnsie is trying to stand up here but Milano is controlling him well.

McEnsie wants to control but Milano is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Milano missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
McEnsie is trying to stand.
Milano stalling away here and it's allowed McEnsie to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
McEnsie avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Milano wants to control from the top but McEnsie keeps moving.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
McEnsie throws a lazy head kick
and McEnsie takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Vincenzo Milano comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Milano has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
