Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Cunnigham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kennedy Embers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cunnigham comes to the cage accompanied by Jeremy. Embers has chosen Settle For Nothing by RATM as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!Kennedy Embers has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice shot by Embers. Embers thows a body shot but no joy. Cunnigham fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Embers avoids it really well and circles away. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. That was a close round but I would say that Jeremy Cunnigham will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Embers throws a looping overhand right but Cunnigham ducks down to avoid it. Cunnigham throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Embers's waist but Embers gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cunnigham off to one side. Embers misses the jab. A swing and a miss from Embers.

Embers tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cunnigham swats him away and circles back towards the center. Embers throws a looping overhand right but Cunnigham ducks down to avoid it. Cunnigham slips a jab from Embers. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Cunnigham ducks under a wild hook from Embers. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Cunnigham is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Embers got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cunnigham has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Embers has managed to get both his arms back between Cunnigham's legs - danger averted. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Embers is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
