Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yemon Fujiwara! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mikey Kim! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Kenichi Hosakawa and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fujiwara ducks right into an uppercut from Kim. Horrible takedown by Fujiwara or perhaps it was just good defense by Kim which made him look bad. Fujiwara gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Kim. Kim moves into range and clinches up with Fujiwara. Fujiwara lands an elbow just above Kim 's eye.
It looks like Mikey Kim has been cut. Fujiwara fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Kim on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Kim pulls guard. Fujiwara avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Fujiwara stands and steps away. Kim gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Kim lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Kim bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Kim is looking to take a break and control but Fujiwara is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Fujiwara is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Fujiwara is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Fujiwara sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Kim content just to control the position here. Fujiwara is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. The referee warns Fujiwara that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Kim looking to control and managing it successfully. Fujiwara keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fujiwara tries to get to full guard but Kim has control of the leg. Fujiwara wants to control the action here but instead Kim manages to pass to full mount!
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Fujiwara is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Fujiwara wants to get back to his feet.
Kim is in the full mount, landing strikes. Kim wants to control the pace but Fujiwara is squirming around nicely. Kim looks gassed! Fujiwara is working to get back to half guard.

Oh but he could get punished here because Fujiwara has locked up a guillotine! Fujiwara's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Kim is holding on here and Fujiwara must be using up a lot of energy. Kim has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Fujiwara gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
