Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tinni Torri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Freddy Huggins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Huggins comes into a darkened arena with his song building. My Generation kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tinni Torri! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Freddy Huggins! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Torri shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Huggins is trying to control the position but Torri postures up. Torri controls the pace of the fight for a moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Huggins working a defensive guard here.
Torri content to stall in guard here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Torri wants to stand but Huggins has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Huggins has his foot on Torri's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Torri works his way back into a safe position though. Torri trying to control the position from guard on top but Huggins is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Huggins working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Torri. Torri tries to free his leg and advance position but Huggins is retaining full guard. Torri would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Torri is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Huggins's half guard. Huggins wants to control but Torri is keeping busy and won't allow it. Torri keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Torri is thwarting Huggins's attempts to control the position. Huggins is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Torri is staying active. Huggins looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Huggins has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Torri is working away from the top position though. Torri passes into side control, despite Huggins's attempt to control the position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Torri closes the distance and clinches up with Huggins, looking for a takedown. Torri pushes Huggins against the cage but Huggins circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Nice takedown defense from Huggins. No joy for Torri on that attempt. Torri looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Huggins is fending him off so far but Torri persists. Nope, Huggins circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tinni Torri. That's going to take a lot out of him. Torri fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Torri tries to score a power double leg takedown but Huggins sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Torri somewhat. Huggins moves into range and clinches up with Torri. Huggins drops down looking for an ankle pick but Torri pulls his leg out and moves away.

Freddy Huggins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Huggins scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Torri is trying hard to land a takedown here. Huggins sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Huggins darts in and clinches Torri up against the cage. Huggins has Torri pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Huggins pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Torri tumbling to the mat - Huggins dives into Torri's guard. Torri has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Huggins can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Torri is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Huggins is controlling him.

Huggins throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Huggins trying to control but Torri is working from the bottom. Huggins won't allow Torri to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Tinni Torri will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Huggins throws a right hand that Torri ducks under and follows up with a left that Torri also avoids with ease. Torri throws a solid leg kick but Huggins takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Torri. Torri doesn't manage to clinch there - Huggins circles away.
A combination from Huggins does no damage. Torri closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Huggins tries to get back to half guard but can't. Huggins wants to control but Torri postures up. Torri just content to control the position. Huggins manages to work his way to half guard, despite Torri's best efforts. Huggins looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Torri wants to work for an arm triangle but Huggins is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Huggins is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Torri seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Torri throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Torri is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Huggins sees it coming and defends easily. Huggins is staying active underneath Torri, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Torri stalling. Torri not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Torri displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Huggins. Huggins just misses with a punch to the body.

Huggins will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Torri is pulling down on Huggins's head. It's preventing any offense from Huggins, at least for the moment. Torri is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Huggins defends well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Huggins wants to control from the top but Torri keeps moving. Torri working a defensive guard but Huggins manages to pass into side control anyway.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Torri is looking for a sweep. Torri is not content to let Huggins control the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Torri looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Torri seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

No, Torri has managed to get both his arms back between Huggins's legs - danger averted. Torri looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Torri is pushing down on Huggins's leg trying to pass to half guard. Huggins is fighting to maintain full guard but Torri has managed to sneak the leg through. Torri stands up and beckons Huggins to join him on the feet. Huggins keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Torri tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Huggins swivels and escapes. Torri decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Tinni Torri overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Torri seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Huggins does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Huggins trying to control here.

Huggins should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. No luck for Torri with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tinni Torri. That's going to take a lot out of him. Torri shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Huggins manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Huggins has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Huggins is trying to control the position from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Huggins isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Torri stacks Huggins on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Torri! Torri stands up. Torri shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Torri was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Torri sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Freddy Huggins has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Huggins keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Tinni Torri showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Torri, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
