Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jose Roela (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Erikh Hartman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Erikh Hartman is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jose Roela! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Erikh Hartman! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Wagner Zegers and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hartman shoots in for a double leg but Roela sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Hartman fails with a takedown attempt. Roela with a lazy takedown attempt and Hartman counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Hartman. Hartman stopping the sweep attempt from Roela. Roela controlling Hartman's posture. Hartman looking to pass the guard. Roela has control of Hartman's left arm, preventing Hartman from doing any damage. Hartman trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Roela controls Hartman momentarily but Hartman frees himself. Roela keeping moving, preventing Hartman from controlling successfully.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Hartman shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Hartman was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
That's one minute gone in the round. Roela is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Roela takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Roela tries to reverse the position but Hartman maintains control. Hartman avoids the attempt from Roela to control. Hartman tries to control but Roela wriggling away. Hartman looking to finish with strikes here!
Roela tries to lock up and control but Hartman gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Roela is trying desperately to improve position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Roela wants to hold on but Hartman pushes him away. Roela is breathing heavily. Hartman dominating with strikes here. Roela tries to hold on but Hartman postures up.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Jose Roela just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Hartman fails with a takedown attempt. Jose Roela has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Erikh Hartman. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Hartman ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Roela has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Hartman. Hartman gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Roela counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Roela seems to be looking for submissions.
Hartman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Roela. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hartman is defending against the submission attempts here by Roela.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hartman won't allow Roela to pass to mount. Roela is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hartman doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Roela. Roela is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Roela throws a strike but Hartman avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Roela trying to control but Hartman is working from the bottom. Roela throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Hartman looks for a takedown but Roela sprawls well. Hartman drives through with a takedown into guard. Roela manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Roela is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Hartman has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Hartman! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Roela trying to control the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Erikh Hartman dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Hartman shoots in for a double leg but Roela sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Roela closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Roela lands in his opponent's guard. Roela pushing down on Hartman's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Roela has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Hartman defend it? Roela steps over the head and cranks it - Hartman is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Roela!
