Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jose Roela (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Erikh Hartman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Erikh Hartman is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hartman shoots in for a double leg but Roela sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Roela is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Roela takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Roela wants to hold on but Hartman pushes him away.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Hartman ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Hartman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Roela. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Roela is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Hartman has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Hartman!
