Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Evon Debourgh!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Columbo Gatti and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tyson scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Debourgh can't do much from the bottom here.
Tyson is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Debourgh has eaten all the pies!

Tyson wants to stand up but Debourgh manages to regain full guard.
Debourgh bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tyson's guard.
Tyson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Tyson tries to get out of the position.
Tyson wants to sweep but no luck.
Tyson trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Debourgh wants to control from the top but Tyson keeps moving.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Tyson wants to sweep here but Debourgh controlling him for the moment.
Debourgh trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Tyson doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

Tyson shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Debourgh is trying to control but can't.

Tyson tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Tyson throwing shots but Debourgh is blocking nicely.

Tyson trying to mount his opponent but Debourgh defends it.
Tyson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Debourgh on the ground.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
No joy there for Tyson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Debourgh tries to pull guard but Tyson won't allow it.

Tyson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Debourgh forces his way into half guard.
Tyson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Debourgh is keen to just control but Tyson is a slippery customer.
Tyson is looking to control Debourgh's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Tyson avoid being mounted?
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jack Tyson dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


The fight stays on the outside here - Tyson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Debourgh gets caught flat footed, as Tyson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Debourgh is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Tyson jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Debourgh is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Debourgh and Tyson has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Debourgh gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Debourgh slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Tyson won't allow Debourgh to sweep him here.
Debourgh is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Debourgh looking to hit a scissor sweep but Tyson is one step ahead there.

Debourgh manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Tyson wants to control but Debourgh is having none of it.

Debourgh can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Tyson is looking to escape.

Well, with Debourgh on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Tyson is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

Debourgh is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Tyson taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from Debourgh.
