Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Lock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anatoli Volinov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Volinov is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Soviet March. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lucas Lock! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Anatoli Volinov! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Arvi Lind and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Volinov shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lock sprawls well. Lock wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Volinov gets slowly back to his feet. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Volinov is defended easily by Lock. Volinov shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lock sprawls well. That's going to take a lot out of Anatoli Volinov. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Volinov misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Volinov shoots in looking for a takedown. Lock tries to sprawl out of it but Volinov keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lock manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Lock shoots in and bounces Volinov off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Lock drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lock jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lock passes into half guard. Lock wants to lay and pray for a moment but Volinov keeps working. Lock is thwarting Volinov's attempts to control the position. Lock controlling the action here. Lock tries to pass to full mount but Volinov defends it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lock seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Volinov does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Lock looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Volinov tries to kick Lock off but Lock keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Lock is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Volinov has managed to free his arm - good work. Lock is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Lock content just to control the position here. Lock has control of Volinov's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Volinov regains control of the situation pretty easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Volinov is looking to get to half guard. Volinov is squirming around, avoiding Lock's attempts to control the action. Volinov tries to hold on but Lock pushes him away. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Lock goes for an armbar but Volinov turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Volinov. Volinov decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lock, up you get! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lucas Lock dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Volinov tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lock swats him away and circles back towards the center. Lock takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
A head kick by Lock misses so Volinov counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Volinov preventing the sweep. Lock looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Lock avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Lock wants to sweep but no luck. Volinov trying to control but Lock is working from the bottom. Lock wants to sweep here but Volinov controlling him for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lock is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Volinov is aware though and is defending well. Lock manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Lock jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Volinov manages to avoid the submission attempt. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Volinov tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Lock wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Lock is working to tighten is grip on Volinov's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Volinov has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Lock is really squeezing tight and eventually Volinov passes out! Lock breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:04 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Lucas Lock!
