Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Daniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gerald Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davis has chosen Mama Said Knock You Out as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jack Daniels! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Gerald Davis! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Anni Minnemäki and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Daniels tries to clinch up. Some wild striking there from Davis.
Davis misses with a jab, cross combination.
Daniels takes one to the chin there. Davis tries to clinch up but Daniels circles away and keeps his distance. Daniels gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Davis throws a right and a left that Daniels avoids nicely. Daniels shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Davis is trying to stand up here but Daniels is controlling him well. Daniels is taking a breather. Davis says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Daniels tries to pass to full mount but Davis defends it. Davis keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Daniels thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Davis's head.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Daniels, as that shot connected.
Gerald Davis is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Nice sprawl there from Davis as Daniels shoots in. Daniels slips a jab and a cross from Davis.
Daniels fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Daniels closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Daniels lands in his opponent's guard. Daniels lands a couple of digs. Daniels throwing strikes but missing. Daniels pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Davis is keeping the position for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Davis wants to get back to his feet but Daniels is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Daniels trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Daniels might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Daniels throwing strikes but missing.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Daniels closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Davis did well to prevent Daniels getting side control. Davis is trying to stand.
Daniels thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Ground and pound from Daniels. Davis looks like he's trying to stand up.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Daniels throwing shots but Davis is blocking nicely. Davis avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Daniels. Davis blocking the ground and pound attempt from Daniels. Daniels thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Davis tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Daniels paws at him with a jab and circles away. Horrible takedown by Daniels or perhaps it was just good defense by Davis which made him look bad. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Daniels. That's going to take a lot out of him. Daniels is looking to clinch. Daniels shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Davis napping and manages to drive through into side control! Check out the look on Daniels's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. The strikes coming from Daniels are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Davis is pushing Daniels's head away, looking to escape. Daniels manages to hold on to the position though.

Daniels showed some decent athleticism there. Still in half guard, Daniels seems content to control. Daniels is pressing down on Davis's thigh, looking to free his foot. Davis is holding on for now. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Davis is working to avoid the ground and pound but Daniels connects with a decent elbow. Daniels misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Daniels throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Davis works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Daniels prevents Davis from standing back up.

Davis has had enough of the clinch but Daniels keeps him there for the moment. Gerald Davis has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Davis is trying to break the clinch but Daniels has him pressed against the cage. Daniels has Davis pressed against the cage, preventing Davis from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Davis tries to break free but Daniels pushes him back against the cage. Davis blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Daniels has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Davis is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Daniels is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Davis is trying to break free. Davis wants to break free but Daniels has control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Daniels keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Davis's efforts to push away. Daniels prevents Davis from breaking the clinch. Daniels drops down looking for an ankle pick but Davis pulls his leg out and moves away.
Davis scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Davis keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Davis fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Daniels shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Davis pinned against the cage. Davis gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Daniels tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Davis paws at him with a jab and circles away.
And that's the end of the fight! Gerald Davis comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Daniels has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
