Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Blaze Hastings (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terrell Reed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hastings comes to the cage accompanied by Blazin Hazen - Avarage Homeboy. Blaze Hastings has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Blaze Hastings! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Terrell Reed! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Ackerman and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hastings swinging wildly here.
Hastings misses with the combination.
Reed throws a jab but it's blocked by Hastings. Hastings thows a left - swing and a miss! Hastings shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Reed's guard. Hastings looking to sit in guard and control but Reed gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Reed got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hastings has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Reed has managed to get both his arms back between Hastings's legs - danger averted. Hastings wants to sweep here but Reed controlling him for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reed postures up in Hastings's guard and throws a big left but Hastings blocks it. Reed won't allow Hastings to sweep him here. Reed throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Hastings has Reed pulled in close to control his posture. Reed trying to control the position from guard on top but Hastings is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hastings looking for a sweep. Not yet Hastings, not yet.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hastings tries a head kick but it misses.
A big right from Reed misses. Reed tries to clinch there but Hastings circles away.
Reed throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Reed throws out a loose jab but Hastings uses good head movement to avoid it. Hastings uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Reed. Hastings tests Reed's chin there with a solid looking shot.
It looks like Terrell Reed has been cut. Hastings lands a left and a right that send Reed crashing to the mat, dazed. Hastings thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Reed is rocked! Hastings misses with a looping right. Reed shoots for a takedown but Hastings saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Hastings decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hastings is trying to control. Reed wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Hastings tries to pass to full mount but Reed defends it. Hastings is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Reed doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hastings. Hastings trying to control the action but Reed is working from the bottom. Hastings prevents Reed from improving his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Hastings is trying to control the action in half guard but Reed is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Hastings controlling the action here.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hastings slaps away a takedown attempt from Reed, before circling back to the center of the mat. Hastings misses with a few strikes there.
Reed lands with an uppercut that bounces Hastings off the cage and back into rage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Blaze Hastings dominated that round. The cut man is working on Terrell Reed's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Hastings throws a shot from downtown. Reed moves away and avoids it. Reed misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hastings.
Hastings throws a hook to the side of Reed's head but Reed sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Nice defenses there by Hastings. Terrell Reed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hastings showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Reed.
Hastings misses with a body kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A jab from Reed finds it's way through Hastings's defenses. Reed takes a swing at Hastings's ribcage but misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reed tries to clinch up but Hastings circles away and keeps his distance. Reed thows a body shot but no joy. Reed ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hastings moves away. Reed fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hastings sprawls well initially but Reed persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Hastings looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Ground and pound from Reed. Reed sitting and controlling from the half guard. Reed wants to control but Hastings is keeping him busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hastings trying to hold on to Reed's head to control him but Reed postures up.
Hastings is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Reed is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Reed passes into side control, despite Hastings's attempt to control the position.
Hastings can't do much from the bottom here.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Hastings throws a lazy right hand but Reed sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Reed defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hastings.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reed swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Hastings tries to bum rush Reed with a series of wild strikes but Reed uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Hastings ducks under a wild hook from Reed. Hastings throws a predictable looking body shot
letting Reed counter with a right hand. Hastings moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Hastings loads up on a big right hand but Reed slips the punch. Hastings throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Reed. Hastings keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Reed.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Reed darts in trying to clinch and Hastings counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. The fighters circling - Reed throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Hastings shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Reed is trying to defend but Hastings finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Reed slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reed can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Hastings controls the pace. Hastings advances to half guard. Hastings trying to mount his opponent but Reed defends it. Reed is defending against the submission attempts here by Hastings.
Hastings stalling away here and it's allowed Reed to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Reed keeping moving, preventing Hastings from controlling successfully. Reed trying to keep a closed guard but Hastings is proving a slippery customer.

Hastings is looking to take a break and control but Reed is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Reed is letting Hastings control him for a moment. You can see the frustration on Reed's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hastings wants to control for a moment but Reed uses the opportunity to move back to half guard. Hastings trying to pass the guard but Reed defending well. Reed moves into full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Reed wants to sweep but no luck. Hastings is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Reed has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Hastings is looking to defend but Reed has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Hastings! Reed pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Hastings taps out and this one is all over!
