The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Narcarini as Rar shoots in.
Rar throws a head kick that misses.
Rar shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Narcarini sprawls well. Narcarini wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rar gets slowly back to his feet.
Rar moves out of range of the strikes.
Rar fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Narcarini avoids it really well and circles away.

Rar will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Despite being in the dominant position, Claudio Narcarini just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Rar throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Narcarini.

and Narcarini counters with a shoot takedown. Rar fights it but they end up in guard.

Rar really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Well Narcarini has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
