The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Porohovoi keeps the fight on the outside.
Porohovoi looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Porohovoi shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Porohovoi was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Porohovoi has control of Jhones's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Jhones regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Porohovoi jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Jhones is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Jhones and Porohovoi has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Porohovoi goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Jhones has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Porohovoi but great work by Jhones.
Jhones wants to stand but Porohovoi is controlling his arm.

Jhones decides to stand back up. Jhones steps back and let's Porohovoi get back to his feet.

Jhones throws a big uppercut that drops Porohovoi! More strikes from Jhones and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Porohovoi lies dazed against the cage as Jhones celebrates with his cornermen!
