Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Dog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vonatletzin Askiban (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bruno Dog! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Vonatletzin Askiban! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Anni Minnemäki and Tarja Halkonen.

Dog uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Askiban. Askiban throws an overhand right that lands on Dog's shoulder, as Dog tries to avoid the shot. Askiban avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Dog fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Askiban avoids it really well and circles away. Askiban pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Dog shoots in for a double leg but Askiban sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Dog blocks a jab. Askiban pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Askiban defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Dog. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bruno Dog. That's going to take a lot out of him. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dog. Askiban throws a looping overhand right but Dog ducks down to avoid it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Askiban rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dog moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Askiban will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Askiban wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dog gets slowly back to his feet. Vonatletzin Askiban seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Askiban, right into the meat.

It looks like Bruno Dog has been cut. Dog shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Askiban as he jumps to the side. Dog will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Dog looks to throw the jab but Askiban is out of range. Nice defenses there by Dog. Askiban displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Dog.
Askiban gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Askiban pushes Dog back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Askiban wants the takedown. Dog is fighting it off but Askiban persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Dog's guard against the cage. Askiban scoring with some ground and pound. Dog working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Askiban.
Askiban is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Askiban throws a low kick but it's checked well by Dog. Askiban pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Askiban looks to throw the jab but Dog is out of range. Vonatletzin Askiban is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dog.
Askiban forces Dog back against the cage and clinches. Askiban cracks Dog with a nice body shot. Askiban lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Askiban misses with the head strike.

The fight moves into the clinch position. A short right from Askiban on the inside. Askiban comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Askiban lands a left hand that snaps the head of Dog backwards. Askiban prevents the takedown attempt.
Askiban pulls guard successfully.
Askiban is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Dog is aware though and is defending well. Dog trying to control but Askiban is working from the bottom. Dog is looking to work some ground and pound but Askiban has wrist control. Dog stands and throws Askiban's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Dog tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dog has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vonatletzin Askiban dominated that round. The cut man is working on Bruno Dog's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Askiban throws a right hand that Dog ducks under and follows up with a left that Dog also avoids with ease. Dog tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Askiban counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Askiban. Dog changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Askiban fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Dog shoots in but no luck this time.

Askiban really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dog. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Askiban has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dog can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Dog throwing strikes from guard but Askiban blocks nicely. Askiban trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Dog trying to control but Askiban is working from the bottom. You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Dog trying to control but Askiban is working from the bottom. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dog accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Dog tries to free his leg and advance position but Askiban is retaining full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Askiban gets a trip takedown into half guard. Askiban thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Askiban is pressing down on Dog's thigh, looking to free his foot. Dog is holding on for now. Askiban thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Dog's head.

Dog has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Askiban blocking the ground and pound attempt from Dog. Askiban is looking to control Dog's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Askiban avoid being mounted?

Askiban is sitting in close to Dog's body. Dog has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Askiban is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Askiban is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Dog.
