Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Pepito Tshabalala!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Paul Harris!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Damien Edna and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tshabalala gets the takedown into side control.
Tshabalala throws a strike aimed at the side of Harris's head but Harris avoids it well.

Tshabalala really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Harris drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Harris jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Harris is working Tshabalala over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Harris is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Harris lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Tshabalala controls Harris momentarily but Harris frees himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Harris thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Harris doesn't manage to clinch there - Tshabalala circles away.
Tshabalala lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Tshabalala.
Pepito Tshabalala is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Harris shoots in but no luck this time.

Harris really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tshabalala. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Harris wants to control from the top but Tshabalala keeps moving.
Paul Harris has got the better of the ground game so far.
Harris postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Harris is pushing down on Tshabalala's leg trying to pass to half guard. Tshabalala is fighting to maintain full guard but Harris has managed to sneak the leg through.

Harris is trying for a kimura here. Tshabalala looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Harris wins by kimura!
