Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Bonifacio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bam Bam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Andrew Bonifacio! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bam Bam! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shirou Masuda and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bam slaps away a takedown attempt from Bonifacio, before circling back to the center of the mat. Bonifacio tries to clinch up but Bam circles away and keeps his distance. Bonifacio lands a front kick. Bonifacio tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bam swats him away and circles back towards the center. Bonifacio fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Bam displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bonifacio. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andrew Bonifacio. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bam closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Bonifacio wants to get back to his feet.
Bonifacio lands a couple of sideways elbows. Bam seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bonifacio missing with punches from the bottom.
It looks like Bam is going to stand back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bonifacio is looking to control Bam's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bonifacio avoid being mounted? Bam is trying to control the action in half guard but Bonifacio is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Bonifacio looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Some wild striking there from Bam.
Bam looks gassed! Bam throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Bonifacio doesn't succeed with the takedown and Bam decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bonifacio's guard. Bonifacio is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bam is controlling him. Bonifacio is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Bam sitting in guard here, content to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bam looking to pass the guard. Bam won't allow Bonifacio to get back to his feet. Bam thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Bam avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Bam trying to control the position from guard on top but Bonifacio is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Bam wants to control from the top but Bonifacio keeps moving. Bam wants to stand but Bonifacio has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Bonifacio is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Bam punching from the bottom.
Bam is defending against the submission attempts here by Bonifacio.
Bonifacio is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bonifacio is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bam defends it well. Bam really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bonifacio. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Bonifacio is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Bam sees it coming and defends easily. Bonifacio is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bam defends it well. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bam can do anything to dispel that myth. Bonifacio prevents Bam from improving his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andrew Bonifacio dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Bam throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bonifacio's waist but Bonifacio gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bam off to one side. Bam shoots in but Bonifacio avoids the takedown attempt easily. Bonifacio shoots and misses so Bam counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Bonifacio is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Bam has his hands clasped together but Bonifacio extends an breaks Bam's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Bonifacio.
