Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dmitry Pain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcin Najman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Najman has chosen panic at the disco-i write sins not tragedies as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dmitry Pain!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marcin Najman!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Najman shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Pain is trying to defend but Najman finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Pain looking for submissions off his back.
Pain misses with some strikes from the bottom.

Najman moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Pain.
Najman is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Pain's shoulder. That is not cool.
You can see the frustration on Pain's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Najman stands up and beckons Pain to his feet.

Najman shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Pain is looking for a sweep. Najman is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Najman has eaten all the pies!
Pain tries to kick Najman off but Najman keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Pain trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Najman is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Najman throwing shots but Pain is blocking nicely.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pain is in trouble now - Najman has advanced to mount!

Najman is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!

Pain wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Najman is pressed up against the cage. Pain has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Najman down to the mat. Najman avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Good leg kick by Pain there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

and Najman decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Pain's guard.

Najman gets to his feet - Pain follows without any prompting.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

and Najman counters with a takedown into side control.
Pain is trying to get back to half guard.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Pain is pushing down on Najman's leg trying to pass to half guard. Najman is fighting to maintain full guard but Pain has managed to sneak the leg through.
Najman tries to roll over but Pain keeps him under control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Najman looks like he's trying to stand up.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Pain falls off balance throwing a combination

Najman turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Najman manages to end up in side control.
