Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chris Connely (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julius Sance (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sance has chosen Wasteland as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Connely! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Julius Sance! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Connely cracks a nice hook into Sance's ribs. Good shot there by Connely. Sance shoots for a takedown but Connely saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Sance bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Connely instigates a clinch. Connely pushes Sance back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Connely has hold of one of Sance's legs. Sance is fighting the takedown attempt but Connely gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Connely trying to control but Sance is working from the bottom. Connely slips nicely into half guard. Connely performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Sance works his way to full guard. Good work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sance thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Connely drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Connely jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Connely lands a couple of elbows. Sance working for a triangle but Connely defends it easily.
Connely looking to sit in guard and control but Sance gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Sance pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Connely is keeping the position for now. Connely is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Connely had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Sance defends it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sance got a little sloppy there for a moment and Connely has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sance has managed to get both his arms back between Connely's legs - danger averted. Connely looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Sance won't allow Connely to sweep him here. Connely looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Sance stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Connely swivels though and keeps the full guard. Sance trying to control but Connely is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chris Connely dominated that round. That's time! Connely's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Sance shoots in for a double leg but Connely sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Sance misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Connely connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. A slow jab from Connely misses its intended target. Sance with a poor takedown and Connely counters with a nice uppercut. Connely comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Sance misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Connely counters with a one-two to the body. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sance with a lazy takedown attempt enabling Connely to counter with a crisp jab. Chris Connely has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Julius Sance. Connely listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Sance throws a body punch but Connely moves out of range. Sance showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Connely.
Jab by Connely. Sance is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sance ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Connely moves away. Connely stuns Sance with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Chris Connely is winning the standup battle so far. Connely drops Sance with a left right combo! Connely follows him down to the ground into side control.
Sance is rocked!
It looks like Julius Sance has been cut. Connely cracks Sance with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Connely immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Sance is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Connely!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chris Connely!
