Abobo has hold of Rutten's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Rutten manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Abobo is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Rutten has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Abobo throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Rutten was covering up waiting for the punch and Abobo finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Abobo drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Rutten dives on top into guard.
Rutten trying to control the position from guard on top but Abobo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Abobo has his foot on Rutten's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rutten works his way back into a safe position though.
Rutten drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rutten jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Abobo is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
